First of all, I want to say that this site is amazing! We had a rescue basset hound for a short time and I had to give him up. I think he was a one owner dog and we are a family. I found your site on a Google search. We are considering raising a puppy. I had gotten quite attached to our doggy while we fostered him and I just sat here and had a good cry. I think I have fallen in love with the breed . Look for future emails from me. I was delighted to find your site. It looks like you LOVE what you do. I think we would get a pup who has a lot of love to give. |

| We picked our puppy up yesterday from you! We named him Tucker. He had already been a great joy to us. He rode the entire drive home in my lap and has been a lap dog ever since. | Our hearts are full of joy again! After losing our sweet Odie earlier this year, we found the Whisnants and their wonderful family of bassets and brought home Ringo. We have had Ringo for almost two weeks and can hardly remember time without him! He is the sweetest and most lovable little basset! He has been happy since the moment we laid eyes on him. He spends all his time snuggling and playing (hide the shoes!). On Dec 21st 2007 we had our 13 yr old female basset "put to sleep", & on Jan 21st 2008, our 5 yr old female died suddenly after routine surgery. We're devastated! And we're looking to purchase a new family member. Really like your sight & am anxious to see pics of the new pups. |

| thank you guys so much this was one of the best decision we made coming down there. Our son has a shadow named Duke and they are inseperable. Duke was taken for his first set of shots last december and now he weighs 15.1 pounds and the vet said he is just the right weight for how much he is growing. the only down fall i have had is trying to get our son to eat his own food without trying to share it with duke. thank you again have a great new year! | |||

She had her shots on 11/10/07 and our vet was very impressed, he stated that we had found an excellent breeder. Lady has helped us tremendously with our healy process. We will keep you posted. Hey guys! We just hit your site and we LOVE it! Lil One is doing incredible! She is getting spayed in the next few weeks... we have pics that we are going to send you.. she was a whopping 49 lbs at her last weigh in at the vet, at about 5 1/2 months! The extra skin is hilarious! There are a few dogs in there - hee! Her paws, when she sits, turn out..her eyes are now droopy, her ears are soooo long, she is finally getting into her howl and being a more settled and loving bassett baby girl! She looney runs around the house and chases our 12 year old lab.. she is in GREAT health, no problems, not fat at all... growing growing growing! We will send you pics soon. We want to adopt another one from you - another female.. in about 3 months or so.. let us know what your litter schedule looks like.
