Good morning Amy and family, We purchased Amos form you about 9 months ago and he just turned 1 year old yesterday. He is, by far, the best dog we have ever had. He has the best, loving temprement. Amos has plans to be a certified therpay dog and go to our local children's hospital and provide smiles the way he does for our family. I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you so much for entrusting us with this amazing animal. We will be back to get another from you. Hi. My name is Judy and my husband is Bill. Our great granddaughter lives w/us and we enjoy her so much!! I had a bassett years ago and lost "Elvis" atfter 14 yrs.I swore that I would not get another basset, but I met someone at the school where Kenedy goes to school and she had a beautiful baby basset and told me to log on to this web, so here I am.. I WANT A BABY FROM YOUR LITTER!!!!! They are beautiful bassets and I love the very long eared and short body.. "Elvis was brown black and white and if I get one from you I think I am going for the reddish brown and white.. Well guess that I will let you go now. I hope that you are always in remission and I will pray for you . YOu also have awsome children and a wonderful husband... I too had cancer, in my left kidney and I am doing great with a wonderful husband and great children5and our great grand aughter Kenedy. I have 2 other great grandaughters and 5 grandchildren. Dear Amy, Just wanted to drop you a little line all the way from San Diego CA! We purchased a hound from u guys a couple of years ago. You guys named her "cutie pie". Her name is now Phoebe. She was one of Sassy's pups. Half French, half Appalachian bigfoot. She was delivered to us Feb 28th 2008. She is now two years old and what a big girl she is!! Very loving and playful. She loves to go on walks and loves to have her paw held. She will walk up to you and and paw at you till you "hold her hand". Her big brown spots look like the round ends on a jigsaw puzzle, the bigger she gets, the bigger the puzzle! Just wanted to say hi and thank you. Im glad you made it through your scary ordeal in 2009. GOD IS GOOD!! Have a happy new year guys!! |

| Our Berkeley is now between 6 and 7 months old and is weighing in at 45 pounds. He is recuperating from his neutering surgery and should be having his stitches removed later this week. | Hi Amy...Daffney is wonderful...she is a big girl at 43lbs now and is the love of my life...she is sweet and playful...still a toddler...but we are getting there...she is a good girl and we love her...she is known at work as my sweeper with her ears!! She comes to work often and sweeps the floor with her ears!! Oh yeah...she is SPOILED!! She was with me when I had a pinched syatic nerve in Anchorage and laid by me for 3 days in a hotel...what a sweetheart...I want another one...so she can have a playmate!! I have had people tell me here in town that she is the most beautiful basset they have ever seen. One person who has 2 told me that she is a thouroughbred!! Well of course she is! | |||

| WE unfortunately just lost our Bassett after 10.5 years to cancer. This has been so hard, she was the center of fun in our family. I PURCHASED MY HOLLY NOEL ON DECEMBER 30, 2008. SHE IS THE SWEETEST LITTLE DOG I HAVE EVER SEEN. I TOOK HER FOR HER FIRST CHECKUP, AND THE VET WAS SO IMPRESSED BY THE CARE THAT JOE AND AMY GIVE THEIR BABIES. HE SAID THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT OTHER BREEDERS DO AS FAR AS THEIR SHOTS, WORMING, AND GENERAL HEALTH CARE OF THEIR PUPPIES. HE SAID IF OTHER BREEDERS TOOK AS MUCH CARE AS THE WHISNANT'S THERE WOULDN'T BE MANY SICK AND UNWANTED DOGS. HE WAS SO IMPRESSED BY THE QUALITY OF MY PUP, HE EVEN OFFERED TO TAKE HER IF I EVER NEEDED TO FIND HER A HOME. (THAT WOULD NEVER, EVER HAPPEN). First of all, I want to say that this site is amazing! We had a rescue basset hound for a short time and I had to give him up. I think he was a one owner dog and we are a family. I found your site on a Google search. We are considering raising a puppy. I had gotten quite attached to our doggy while we fostered him and I just sat here and had a good cry. | Our hearts are full of joy again! After losing our sweet Odie earlier this year, we found the Whisnants and their wonderful family of bassets and brought home Ringo. Duke was taken for his first set of shots last december and now he weighs 15.1 pounds and the vet said he is just the right weight for how much he is growing. the only down fall i have had is trying to get our son to eat his own food without trying to share it with duke. thank you again have a great new year! | |||
